Curaçao brought ambiance to the Caribbean Week New York

WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB) together with the Ministry of Economic Development headed by Minister Stanley Palm recently met with the Heads of the Caribbean States, ministers, executives in the travel industry and tourism business in the region at the Caribbean Week New York. It was a week with various Caribbean activities in The Big Apple.
Caribbean Week New York, each year, attracts thousands of participants and receives international media coverage. What makes Caribbean Week New York unique in its style is the perfect combination of commercial sessions, events and opportunities to network. The purpose of this Caribbean week is to create awareness of the various products offered and exhibit the business opportunities in our region.
This year, the Caribbean Week New York was closed with an event called Rum and Rhythm to raise funds for students in our region. During this event, invited guests had the opportunity to try some of the cocktails made with the authentic Blue Curaçao Liqueur and also savor delicious local treats. To make sure that the ambiance was complete, there was great Caribbean music. This memorable evening was the highlight of the social calendar of the Caribbean Week New York, which was attended by over 600 guests including the comedian Majah Hype and some Celebrity Chefs.
