Curaçao participated at the ‘Expo Internacional Bolivar’
WILLEMSTAD- Recently Curaçao participated at the ‘Expo Internacional Bolivar’. This tourism expo took place at the Centro Total de Entretenimiento Cachamay in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) looks back at a very successful participation.
The first edition of the expo had a total of 380 booths where business owners and representatives of various sectors exhibited their products and services to those who were visiting the expo. Papagayo Beach & Lounge Resort, San Marco Hotel & Casino, Veneto Casino and Holiday Beach Resort, Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino, Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino and Piscadera Harbor Village joined the CTB to offer all those who want to visit Curaçao important information for their stay on the island. InselAir was also part of the Curaçao team as the only international airline that offers direct flights to Curaçao from Puerto Ordaz.
Curaçao participation was to encourage and fortify the cultural and economic cooperation, exhibit Curaçao as a Latin American and Caribbean hub and also to present to numerous tourist activities that the island has to offer. Together with the conference, there were also various conferences and forums. These were divided into two sections. The first section was focused on the potential of the Bolivar State and the second on tourism, commerce and agriculture.
For the CTB being part of the expo was an opportunity to exhibit the touristic opportunities that Curaçao has to offer to the international visitors.
