The 16th annual Travel Show featured a number of well-known travel experts offering talks and seminars, including Arthur Frommer (publisher of more than 340 Frommer travel guides), Henry Rollins (author of "Smile, You're Traveling") and actress & philanthropist Alyssa Milano.

Curaçao excited visitors to the Caribbean section with an impressive display, featuring its colorful UNESCO World Heritage buildings of Willemstad, while educating travelers about the uniqueness of the destination. Baoase Luxury Resort was also present to promote its property and granting visitors a chance to win a 4-night stay.

During the Travel Show it was evident that there is a heavy demand for new travel options in the Los Angeles region of California. As many visitors insisted that travel length is not as important as what a destination has to offer at a feasible price point. The Los Angeles metro area is ever-expanding and growing in a diverse cultural mix which finds Curaçao as an attractive travel destination. CTB USA will further expand its advertising and commitment to the Los Angeles DMA in 2014 to further capitalize on the market potential for Curaçao.
