Curaçao’s publicity campaign receives nomination
WILLEMSTAD- Recently the publicity campaign #MijnCuraçao (My Curaçao) conducted by the Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB) in Europe was nominated for the SABRE Awards in the bloggers category. The strategy used in this campaign is the so called travel blogger, who becomes a sort of reporter for Curaçao.
This reporter becomes extremely important in the strategy not only because he or she shares their experiences online through the social media, but also because their daily program consists of giving tips and share stories which they receive through social media of locals and travelers. The objective of this is to inspire and awake the curiosity of potential visitors to choose Curaçao as their next destination.
The award event will take place on May 19 in London. SABRE Awards is the largest awards competition in the publishing industry and it recognizes the excellence in publicity campaigns.
