Curaçao’s Seaquarium Beach competing for Best Caribbean Beach
WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao has been selected, once more, to compete in the 10 Best Readers Choice Travel Award, this time in the category Best Caribbean Beach.
Curaçao’s popular Seaqarium Beach has captured the attention of the USA TODAY’s critics as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Other participating beaches are Baby Beach in Aruba, Cabbage Beach in Bahamas and Orient Bay Beach in St. Maarten. USA TODAY’s website promotes this competition and is open for visitors to vote for their favorite beach in the Caribbean.
“While man-made, Curacao's Seaquarium Beach (also called Mambo Beach) has it all: lovely white sand, clear teal waters and plenty of tropical cocktails to wash it all down. A breakwater keeps the waters calm, making it a great beach for swimming, and once the sun sets, small bars lining the water transform the area into one big beach party,” the USA TODAY’s website indicates.
