German journalists enchanted with Curaçao
WILLEMSTAD- Recently the Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB) received a group of journalist from Germany. CTB designed a specific itinerary for this group to explore the island; the program offered unique and different possibilities to exhibit all that Curaçao has to offer.
The group stayed at the Floris Suite Hotel & Spa and Renaissance Curaçao & Casino. It consisted of four travel column writers. They are Stefanie Kasparek of Rheinische Post, Christiane Pötsch-Ritter of Schwäbische Zeitung, Jens Peter Burmeister of Hanniversche Allgemeine Zeitung and Madeleine BIerlein of Mannheimer Morgen. All these are regional newspapers in Germany and they cover topics such as politics, economy, sports, culture and travel. Rheinische Post concentrates in the Düsseldorf area, which is an area with a high monthly income. 47.3% of Schwäbische Zeitung’s readers have an income of €2.500 or more. Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung is more concentrated in Hannover and the area of Lower Saxony. Its readers have an average monthly income of more than €3.000. Mannheimer Morgen is more oriented towards people older than 30 years.
