Increase tourists from Suriname and Brazil

Curacao beachWILLEMSTAD - The number of tourists, who in the first eight months of the year came to Curaçao, has increased by 13,000. This was announced the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB). In total there were at that time nearly 290,000 tourists who came the island. They accounted for more than two million overnight stays.

However, there were a lot less tourists from Europe, but that loss was offset by an increase in the number of tourists from North and South America. They came mainly from Suriname and Brazil
