International media in Curaçao for the CNSJF 2014

curacao north sea jazz festivalWILLEMSTAD- The Curaçao North Sea Jazz is without a doubt the biggest music festival in the Caribbean region. This year, the festival also counts on promotion from various international platforms. The Curaçao Tourism Bureau (CTB), in close cooperation with the organizers of the event (Fundashon Bon Intenshon), made use of all marketing tools to ensure that the popular festival will be promoted everywhere. This year the CTB has invited 42 members of various media, such as newspapers, radios, TV channels, magazines and social media, on an international level.

This international promotion consisted of press conferences in Aruba, Suriname and Panama, where information was given about participating artists, ticket sales and also the possibility to cover the event. This promotion was done on the radio in Venezuela, Sint Maarten, Aruba and U.S.A. where tickets were raffled to be part of this great musical festival. This immense interest for the festival with the members of the regional media is remarkable. Media from Europe and U.S.A. have also registered to cover this event. This year the international press attending the CNSJF will include Marie Clair Magazine (Belgium), Rolling Stone Magazine (Brazil), Apintie Television & Radio (Surinam), One Caribbean Television & Website (U.S.A. and Caribbean), W Radio (Colombia), Los Originales RCN Radio (Colombia), newspapers El Carabobeño (Venezuela), El Informador (Venezuela) and TV Channel Destination Jazz (U.S.A.).

CTB would like to thank all those who work in the media, both local and international, for their interest in covering the fifth edition of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival. With the presence of the international media, Curaçao will have an opportunity to market itself in a way which will certainly benefit the whole economy of the island.

Curaçao, are you ready for the CNSJF 2014? Let us all show hospitality to our visitors and make their stay on the island an unforgettable one.
