It’s local! Come and try the WILLIBURGER at Toko WIlliwood
WILLEMSTAD - Last Saturday, April 8, in the presence of Minister Goeloe of Economic Development, Steven Martina, Eugene Rhuggenaath and Zita Leito, Curaçao launched a new delicacy, namely the "WILLIBURGER".
This burger made from goat meat has gone through a short but very successful pilot period at Toko WILLIWOOD. The marketing ploy behind this burger begun at Hato and will be promoted over the entire island. This is a truly local healthy and tasty treat that will have its place on the world map.
“We are very proud that we have introduced a truly local product, which will benefit the whole economy of the island. The WILLIBURGER is not only available at Toko WILLIWOOD, but the burger with the recipe will be presented by several restaurants on the island. It is a natural product and therefore sustainable and good for the environment. A portion of the proceeds will benefit to support talented youth and inspire the creation of an innovative local business activity,” said Marfa Wawoe, initiator of the WILLIBURGER and owner of Toko WILLIWOOD.
