KLM Curaçao Sales Run launched
Campaign to stimulate the sales of tickets from the Netherlands to Curaçao
THE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD - The incentive campaign Curacao Sales Run was launched last Tuesday in the Netherlands. The objective of this campaign is to promote the sale of tickets to Curaçao for the month of November, which is traditionally a slow month for sales. The launching took place at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Curaçao born actor, Everon Jackson Hooi fired the symbolic first shot to give start to this campaign. He was also wearing the medals, which will be awarded to the participants of the KLM Curaçao Marathon 2015. This marathon will take place in November of this year.
The Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB), KLM and the Run in the Sun Foundation have developed this campaign especially for Dutch travel agents. They immediately started with the Sales Run: “Who can sell more tickets with the aviation company KLM for the month of November to our destination, Curaçao.” Travel agents who sell more ticket to Curaçao with KLM for the month of November will have the opportunity to win a 5 day study trip to Curaçao. The only requirement is that the booked trips need to be for November.
CTB is convinced that this campaign will stimulate travels to Curaçao in the very slow month of November.
