Mrs. Angeles Lopéz Isales honored during her 40th year visiting Curaçao
WILLEMSTAD – Mrs. Angeles Lopéz Isales celebrated her 40th year visiting Curaçao. This was a reason for the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) to give her a recognition on behalf of the Minister of Economic Development Eugene Rhuggenaath.
Mrs. Angeles Lopéz Isales has a degree in education and has worked at different universities in Puerto Rico. In a very casual way, she got to know the Baromeo family in Puerto Rico and from that friendship of 40 years the love for Curaçao was born. Mrs. Lopéz Isales visits the island at least 4 times a year and has become friends with many locals during the years. She has attended almost every important event on the island such as the Tumba Festival, Carnival, Easter, Christmas and New Year.
He greatest wish is that the friendship between Puerto Rico and Curaçao could continue through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lopéz Isales received a plaque of recognition and a gift on behalf of the people of Curaçao, the island she considers her second home.
