WILLEMSTAD - On April 18th CHATA launched the second episode of “NosTURismo” which if translated to English means OURtourism. The second episode features Marivanny Martinez, a Spanish teacher at Skol Avansá Amador Nita (SAAN). CHATA captured an inspiring story about how her calling made her a pasionate teacher.
Foreign languages are important for Curaçao since only a few islands in the Caribbean speak our native language, Papiamentu. Marivanny Martinez' efforts contribute greatly at making sure students learn how to write and speak Spanish. We all have a role and we all can benefit from this industry and Ms. Martinez is a clear example of tourism being a contribution OF ALL OF US. #NosTURismo
