Palm satisfied with recommendations for tourism

Min-Palm-Tourism-Summit-13-468x295WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Economic Development Stanley Palm looks back on a successful conference in Florida. The results were presented from a study on tourism in Curaçao at the Rosen College, a division of the University of Central Florida

Palm got some recommendations along in the field of entertainment, beaches and shopping. The quality of interaction with tourists should be raised. In terms of Rosen College: 'sun, sea & sand should be sun, sea, sand and smile. This is, according to the Department, a first step in the process that should lead to a master plan, which should be approved by the Council of Ministers. The Rosen College has been approached by Palm to work on the master plan for 2015 to 2020. It is expected that this master plan will be ready by the end of this year.
