The best graduates in the tourism and hospitality sector received their recognition
WILLEMSTAD- For the seventh consecutive year, the Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB) honors the best graduates in the Tourism and Hospitality sector. The “Dushi Hende” award goes to the eleven students that excelled by finishing their school year with extraordinary results. The Minister of Economic Development, Stanley Palm and the Manager of the CTB’s Product Departments, Ritzel Godfried spoke during this event.
This recognition should serve as an extra motivation for the students to continue doing their best in their further studies or on the labor market. This recognition should also serve as a motivator for students that are currently pursuing an education in the Tourism and Hospitality sector to do their best for next year’s award. The “Dushi Hende” award stands for 6 key principles. These are: hospitality, service, responsibility, dignity, integrity and honesty.
The students that were honored this year are Andrew Hatma (CDC), Louvienne van Wessel, Marimar Seales i Shyron Rosalia (Nilda Pinto SBO), Chantelly Pauletta (Jacques Ferrandi VSBO), Qyhaila Perez (Marnix VSBO), Faumiri Helena Frans (FEFFIK), Marsheline Santiroma i Natasha Ledgister (Maris Stella SBO), Edeliënne Kirindongo (Maris Stella VSBO) and Samantha Pikero (ICUC). CTB congratulates the parents and the teachers for helping these students reach their goals.
