Minister should stay away from secondary conditions

NAPBWILLEMSTAD - Members of union National General Police Bond (NAPB) do not agree with the measures minister Etienne van der Horst wants to implement. That is the outcome of the meeting that took place this morning. The measures affect the secondary conditions such as salary increases, indexing, holiday allowance and the pension scheme.

About 140 members came to the meeting. "The members have made it clear during the meeting that they do not agree and find that the Minister should stay away from the secondary conditions," said union leader Ronaldo Abraham. "They do not negotiate the measures. The message is clear for us. "

"Through this message we as union will draft a letter which after being approved will be sent to the government. In this letter we will mention the decision of the members,” Abrahams said.
