INAC’s response to DAE

DAECARACAS/WILLEMSTAD – We’ve received from Dutch Antilles Express (DAE) a copy of the letter from the Venezuelan Aviation Authorities INAC. In this letter it clearly states that the operations between Curacao and Maracaibo were suspended, not canceled.

We’ve translated this letter to inform our readers about INAC’s measure towards the Curacao aviation company DAE.

-I am honored to address you with the opportunity to extend a warm greeting and yet, we are bringing to your attention that this Institute,  in its capacity as Aviation Authority, has decided to suspend non regular operations on the route Curacao / Maracaibo / Curacao until the situation, the lack of equipments, has been remedied, which has resulted in a significant reduction in the on time performance, showing a decline in the quality of service that directly affects the passengers.

In view of this, you are encouraged to take the necessary precautions for the protection of passengers who have made commitments to date, in compliance with the provisions of the General Conditions of Air Transport. This measure will take effect starting March 19, 2013.

Without nothing further to refer, you receive my highest esteem and consideration.-
