Letter of intent signed with Chinese import giant
WILLEMSTAD – Outgoing Minister of Economic Development Steven Martina signed a letter of intent with China Machinery Engineering Corporation, CMEC, one of the largest export companies in China.
Martina left Saturday for a two-day working visit to China. According to the Ministry of Economic Development Curaçao (CMEC), the island could serve as a solid base within the Latin American market. During the visit they attendees also held a minute of silence for the murdered politician, Helmin Wiels. Martina and his delegation traveled to Curacao after signing the letter of intent.
