MCB Bank grows to over 6 billion

MCBWILLEMSTAD – The assets of the MCB have risen to over six billion guilders (3.5 billion dollars). End of last year, the balance read 6.044 million guilders in assets.  This is an increase of four percent compared to the previous year.

Maduro & Curiel’s Bank (MCB) is the largest bank in the Dutch Caribbean and it has proven in these difficult economic times that is continues to grow. The net profit of the bank amounted to 143.7 million guilders in 2012, compared to 137.1 million in 2011. Shareholders' equity also increased from 588,500,000 in 2011 to 652,300,000 in 2012. The management of the bank has said that they see 2013 with "healthy optimism".
