More space for musical development

WILLEMSTAD - Musical talents get through music organization Kids Play Music the opportunity to develop into true musicians. Since January, the music school opened its doors but soon found that the enthusiasm for music continues to grow.

This summer the organization moved into neighborhood center The Tamarijn, because they needed more space. "Now that we have the space, we can get into it," says founder and music teacher Saskia Rozier. "There is such demand for general music education for children in the upper primary school. Hence, in October we want to start with a new group, focused on children in group six, seven and eight."

Fancy fair
The new location of Kids Play Music should still be festively inaugurated and that is of course accompanied by music. Saturday in Neighborhood center The Tamarijn between 14.00 and 17.00 they will organize a Fancy Fair. Musical kids show their talents on this afternoon. The Fancy Fair is complete with performances of "Popcorn and Arjan and Wietze of 'Various Sauces Unplugged'. For additional funds to spend on new instruments Kids Play Music sells used children's clothing and pastries. Everyone is welcome to the new Kids Play Music’s location, admission is free.
