The best of the 2015 Oscars® on HBO and MAX

oscarsMIAMI – Closing out a night full of victories in the 87th edition of the Academy Awards, HBO congratulates the 2015 Oscar-nominated and winning films, which will air exclusively on HBO and MAX in the Caribbean:

·       “Boyhood”: winner of Best Supporting Actress (Patricia Arquette) and nominated for Best Film

·       “The Imitation Game”: winner of Best Adapted Screenplay (Graham Moore) and nominated for Best Film

·       “The Theory of Everything”: winner of Best Actor (Eddie Redmayne) and nominated for Best Film

·    “Whiplash”: winner of Best Supporting Actor (J.K. Simmons), Best Film Editing (Tom Cross), Best Sound Mixing (Craig Mann, Ben Wilkins and Thomas Curley), and nominated for Best Film

·      “Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1”: produced by HBO and winner of Best Short Documentary

·      “Big Hero 6”: winner of Best Animated Film

Other Oscar-nominated films that will also premiere on HBO and MAX include “Foxcatcher,” “The Judge,” “Two Days, One Night,” “Wild Tales,” “Into the Woods” and “The Boxtrolls,” among others.

The best talent also on HBO

HBO not only showcases top films, but is also recognized for working with the best talent in the television and film industry: Mark Ruffalo, nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Foxcatcher,” also stars in the HBO Films original, “The Normal Heart,” and Leonardo Sbaraglia, protagonist of the Argentine film “Wild Tales,” nominated for Best Foreign Film, plays the lead role in the new original series from HBO Latin America, “The Hypnotizer,” which will premiere in the second semester of the year.
