OM disagrees with judge on punishment Constancia

ConstanciaWILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecutor's Office (OM) appeals the 80-hour community service imposed by the Court of First Instance against the Member of Parliament for the MFK Jacinta Constancia. According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, Constancia will also appeal this sentence.

The MFK member was sentenced to 80 hours of community service for the violence against her colleague, the Member of Parliament for MAN Giselle McWilliam. The OM also wanted the MP to be convicted for her threat against another MP for MAN Elsa Rozendal but the judge did not agree with this demand.

According to the judge, the threat came under parliamentary immunity. The OM does not agree with this and will appeal.
