Appointment for I.D. application

Civil Registrar's OfficeWILLEMSTAD – Starting on June 12, 2013, it is possible to make an appointment to apply for an I.D. at the Government’s Permit Counter.

The Civil Registrar’s Office, which is a department resorting under the Ministry of Government Policy, Planning and Public Service, is encountering technical problems with one of the two I.D. machines. Consequently, the Office cannot process the quantity of I.D.’s it normally does on a regular day, which is between 150 and 175.

For this reason, the Government has decided that starting June 12, if a person needs to apply for an I.D. they have to call the Permit’s Office to make an appointment for a new I.D. The phone number is 0800-1515 or 433-3123. There will be only 80 appointments per day.
