AVA Airways signs agreement with top America integrated marketing communications firm

With more than 150 employees, and $150 million in annual billings, they signed an agreement to work with local aviation company, Ava Airways. The agency is one of the leading hospitality and travel marketing firms in North America. The agency has previously worked with American Airlines and Lufthansa, and has extensive experience throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

“While the hurdle of Government approval still exists, the potential to develop and execute the well developed business plans of AVA Airways would be a game-changer for Curaçao, and travel throughout the region.” said Curtis Zimmerman, President of The Zimmerman Agency.

AVA Airways agreement with the agency is an integrated marketing communications agreement. The Florida-based agency will assign an experienced team of marketing communications professionals to manage and steward the planning process as well as ongoing strategic efforts, day-to-day account management and ongoing client communications related to marketing the airline.  With the Curaçao Tourism Board limited resources, the Ava Airways marketing plan can spring more exposure to Curaçao and transport the customer to the well needed hotels on the island.

Olivier Arrindell, Chairman of the Airline stated that the agency will develop marketing plans and recommendations in collaboration with the AVA Airways team to provide strategic direction and activation of SEO and SEM with the intention of impacting awareness, response and revenue.

The agency will develop paid search plans and recommendations in collaboration with the AVA Airways team with the intention of impacting awareness, response to drive up the overnight tourism for AVA Airways key markets.

The media teams at The Zimmerman Agency are among the most experienced and connected in the travel category and will provide added leverage for PR promotions, digital and social media added value and other efficiencies for the Ava Airways said Olivier Arrindell.

Olivier Arrindell also stated that the agency and Ava Airways have agreed to work together on the most cost proposals by discipline, and both parties has entered into a comprehensive marketing relationship which will drive tourism into our key markets and stimulate the economy of our Hub and at the same time drive revenue to Ava Airways.
