Ballast Nedam will build the new hospital in Curacao

Ballast NedamWILLEMSTAD - Construction Company Ballast Nedam will build the new hospital ‘Hospital Nobo Otrabanda (New Hospital Otrabanda (HNO)). The company made this announced today. The contract has a value of over 108 million euros.

The order comes from SONA (Development Netherlands Antilles).  For this project Ballast Nedam is working with its local partner OeverZaaijerLyongo architects, EGM architects from Dordrecht and the advisor for the technical installations Valstar Simonis.

The hospital, in the Otrabanda district of Willemstad, will have 300 beds, and a size of approximately 40,000 square meters.

There will also be underground parking for 535 cars. The plans will be developed into a final design In the first quarter of 2014. The hospital will be delivered on December 31, 2016.
