The special athletes – both local and international – arrived at mambo beach in the early morning hours to participate in the event. A total of 35 participants took part in this event.
The distances the athletes covered included 250, 500 and 1000 meters. They were able to do this due to long hours of training.

The volunteers helped the athletes in the ocean, on the beach and on land by handing out snacks and drinks, keeping track of time and scores and handing out prizes to the winners and participants. The event was a great success.

The ben cares volunteers consist of staffmembers of banco di caribe, ennia and national investment bank (nibanc). As a team they cheered for the participants.

On behalf of the board, gilbert martina, was present as well.

ith this gesture, ben cares wants to show the community that apart from donating a 5000 guilder check, they also cooperated in a big way by supplying their own volunteers who helped with the organization of such an important event for our special athletes.
