CIBC FirstCaribbean provides a helping hand to schools for children with special needs

WILLEMSTAD — One of the pillars of CIBC FirstCaribbean is that they make a positive contribution to make to the lives of people in areas where they operate banks, more pleasent. The education of children with special needs is very important for their development. That is why CIBC FirstCaribbean has offered a helping hand to the Dr. Nelly Winkel School, Prof. Dr. I. Van Houten School, Kolegio Sur Herman Joseph (formerly Skol Vista del Mar) and the Divi Divi Lom School, a donation to these four schools of various school boards.

CIBC FirstCaribbean is of the opinion that this is important work done by schools to contribute to the training of these special -and in their own way- talented children. The donation from CIBC FirstCaribbean would be seen as an incentive to continue the valuable work that these schools do.

Libia Frans-Hansen, Branch Manager at CIBC FirstCaribbean said: "Our children with special needs are dear to us. We, as CIBC FirstCaribbean like to offer a helping hand to those schools where these children spend a great deal of their time and get good education. We support this work because it is the way of enriching life. Not only in our community, but especially the lives of these children. "
