Coast Guard Helicopters officially handed over

Coast GuardWILLEMSTAD - Coastguard Support Center at Hato airport was marked by three ceremonial activities on December 11. The two AW-139 helicopters were officially handed over by Fred Baarda (DMO) to the Coast Guard Director General Dick Swijgman. In addition, LTZ 2 OC Stefan Roll LTZ 2 OC Bas van Heeringen received a decoration by the Director of the Coast Guard for their fifteen years of service to the organization.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to boatswain Larry Every and fleet operator Virgil Kemper. Both Coast Guard employees recently concluded a major part of their practical training to become sensor operator on the DASH-8. The last part of their training will continue at the beginning of next year
