Consumers’ Association: Fish is sometimes sold too expensive
WILLEMSTAD – Those who like to eat fish do well to compare prices. That can be seen from a comparative price survey of 21 supermarkets on the island.
This research, which was carried out a week ago by the Consumers' Association and the Ministry of Economic Development. A kilo dradu for example, costs 15 guilders at Boulevard Market, but it costs 24 guilders at Vreugdenhill.
This is 9 guilders more expensive. Other fish sorts are sold with 10 guilders or more difference between the prices.
