Debris found could be space rocket
WILLEMSTAD - The debris that washed ashore at Ascencion on the north coast is presumably from a launch unit of an Ariane Space rocket.
It was launched in French Guyana on November 20th.The rocket repelled at a certain height and then crashed into the sea. Due to the current, the wreckage must eventually have come to our island. Some debris were already found at Ascension last Friday.
