E-gates operational on April 15
WILLEMSTAD – When you arrive at the Curaçao International Airport, it will take you about half a minute to go through immigration and have your passport checked. That is you use one of the six new e-gates.
April 15 is the day. You must have a European, American or Canadian passport with chip and you should be 18 years or older. If you come as a tourist, then you need an ED card filled out digitally via www.curacao.com.
In addition to the e-gates six manned counters remain open to people who do not have the required passport to use the e-gate.
