Hon. Consul of Finland organizes seminar on sustainable solution

MensingWILLEMSTAD - Helga Mensing, Honorary Consul of Finland in Willemstad, Curaçao, has been approached by the Embassy of Finland in The Hague, The Netherlands, to organize an event to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the independence of Finland.

Mrs. Mensing came up with the idea to organize a seminar with the title: 'Building bridges between Finland and Curaçao, a new high way for sustainable solutions and applications'.

One of the main responsibilities of Honorary Consuls is linked with the promotion of commerce and economics and cultural relations.

Last Wednesday afternoon Minister of Public Health and Environment of Curaçao Mrs. Suzy Römer welcomed the Honorary Consul of Finland at her office, to inform her that she accepted the request by the Honorary Consul of Finland, for her and her Ministry to give their support to make this seminar become a reality.
