House search KPMG in connection with former client

KPMG-Dutch-Caribbean-CuracaoWILLEMSTAD - A house search was conducted at the Curaçao KPMG headquarters. This was confirmed by the spokesperson for the Public Prosecutor (OM) Norman Serphos. Documents, including administrative documents, were seized for the OM’s investigation.

No arrests have been made.

The search was conducted to obtain information about a former client of KPMG who currently lives in the Netherlands.

The spokesperson also indicated that the OM will not comment much about this case. According to sources, KPMG is not a suspect in this case. The office fully cooperated with the judicial authorities and after a few hours the officers left the building with a few files.
