Lecture for law students from United States

WILLEMSTAD – Currently a group of American students are following a winter course at the Law Faculty of the University of Curaçao (UNA). In this context they recently visited the Joint Court of Justice of the Dutch Caribbean.

During the visit, they were addressed by Judge Jan de Boer, Bob Wit of the Caribbean Court, Acting Attorney General of the Public Prosecutor Serge Lukowski and an Intern lawyer Nathania Soon of HBN Law.

The students are from all parts of the United States and follow their studies at Hofstra University in Hempstead (New Jersey) and the University of Baltimore (UB). They received from De Boer, Wit, Lukowski and Soon explanations about the island and the legal system in Curaçao and the region.
