Mr. Ralph Blanchard introduced as new CEO of Curacao Airport Partner

WILLEMSTAD – Curacao Airport Partners during a meet and greet event introduced Mr. Ralph Blanchard as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO.)  Mr. Ralph Blanchard replaces Mr. Albert Brunner who recently went with pension.   Mr. Blanchard, a seasoned airport and aviation professional with more than 30 years of experience, will strive together with the CAP team and the other partners at the airport to provide an airport experience we can all be proud about.  Blanchard was introduced during an event at the airport which was attended my government officials, clients and relations of CAP.

“I feel excited to be here in Curacao and to work with the CAP team and our partners at the airport to provide the best possible airport experience.  Although new to Curacao, I am not new to the Caribbean as I was born and raised inSt. Thomas, the US Virgin Islands.

My entire career has been dedicated to the management and direction of airports and had the privilege of directing these facilities in theUS, Caribbean and also on overseas assignments in the Middle East.  I look forward to working in close cooperation with our partners and government to continuously improve our airport environment and to assure our users and passengers of the best possible airport customer service experience” Mr. Blanchard said.

Previous to starting its new assignment at CAP, Mr. Blanchard held the position of Chief Administrative Officer of the Sacramento County Airport System. He had the opportunity to hold various director positions throughout the world but most specifically theCaribbean.  This experience gave him an excellent understanding of the region’s major economic drivers and the industries that uniquely support and stimulate economic stability and growth.

“So what should you expect us to dedicate our attention on at CAP as one of the major stakeholders and shareholder in theCuracao’s future?  Expect the commitment by CAP to perform its functions as effectively and efficiently to deliver safe and pleasant airport operating environment highly focused on costumer service for our employees, users and of course our passengers traveling through our airport. But we will need the help of all stakeholders, both internal as external, to work together on this goal. There will be challenges but none that we cannot overcome with a little understanding and cooperation of all involved.  Our passengers are the source of all of our revenues and they assure our success…but they have choices.  We must always provide them the best service, and airport customer service experience we can possibly deliver.” Ralph Blanchard said.
