No trade in blood, says Health Inspection

Blood donorWILLEMSTAD - There are no indications that the Blood Bank has commercial interests in the trade in blood. This is according to the Inspectorate for Public Health. The organization responds to the accusation of a Member of Parliament.

The bank only sells blood that is reimbursed by the insurer, such as the Social Insurance Bank (SVB), according to the Inspectorate. The government service says it will only conduct an investigation if there are concrete indications.
