According to the authorities, the fruits and vegetables were not placed where they were supposed to be, namely on the stands. The vendors usually put these in plastic bags and try to sell them to drivers passing by. This causes frustration to others. This also causes problems for pedestrians.

The sellers received a warning last month. The police told them to keep the sidewalk free for pedestrians. The vendors did not adhere to these instructions and now the police decided to take measures against them.

The police seized all the fruits that were not properly placed on the stands. They also took cheese, vegetables and alcoholic beverages.
