Private sector signs protocol for the recovery efforts Leeward Islands

WILLEMSTAD - The private sector in Curaçao indicated in a protocol their wishes to make a joint and structured effort to provide assistance, knowledge, equipment, goods, and funds for the benefit of the economic recovery of the Dutch Leeward Islands St. Maarten, St. Eustatius and Saba.

All activities in connection with the recovery effort will be structured through a committee called the SSS Recovery Committee. This committee consists of five members which were appointed by the signed protocol. According to the protocol, these members are knowledgeable in the fields of business, economy, legal, accounting, logistics, engineering or technique. And they shall, as much as possible, have affinity with the Leeward Islands.
