Program Royal Couple’s visit to Curacao

Future King and QueenWILLEMSTAD - King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima began today their visit to the six islands of the Kingdom. The Royal couple will visit St. Maarten, Saba, St. Eustatius, Bonaire, Curacao and Aruba. On November 18 and 19, the King and Queen will be on Curacao.

The program for Curacao will be:

09:00 Welcome ceremony with honor guard at the Government Square;

09:15 Public greetings with the Governor;

09:55 Meeting with the Prime Minister and greeting by the Council of Ministers;

10:35 Visit to the Parliament of Curaçao and meeting with MP’s - Ansinghstraat ;

11:10 Visit to the Marnix College - Rio Canario ;

11:55 Walk through Otrobanda with residents - Zaantjessteeg , Gasthuisstraat , Cartagenastraat and Bredestraat;

14:15 Visit to the Techno Future School - Rooseveltweg;

14:45 Visit to the University of Curaçao;

15:30 Visit to Carmabi Science Centre and opening of the new building by the King - Parasasa;

19:30 Attend a party at Brionplein

Program November 19

09:15 Visit to the fishing pier at West Point;

09:35 Visit to the museum house in Tula at Knip;

10:20 Meeting with the residents of Soto (Bandabou) – in front of Don Sarto School;

11:40 Meeting with residents of Banda Ariba - Montaña, Plaz Julio Henriquez;

17:10 Visit to the Fort Church in Fort Amsterdam exhibition Filingrana;

17:55 Reception - Governor's Palace
