RKCS keeps eye on meeting attendance

ABVOWILLEMSTAD – The Roman Catholic Central School Board (RKCS) is closely watching how many teachers will attend the Unions’ meeting this morning during working hours. This type of meeting is not permitted during these hours, according to Karina Lombardi, who is the financial Director of the RKCS.

President Darius Plantin of teachers union SITEK expected that there will be a large turnout at the briefing. The meeting was from eight to ten this morning. Reason for the briefing is the increase in the retirement age AOV. The Sitek is afraid that the salary and indexing for teachers will come under pressure because of the AOV. Yesterday, about 150 teachers got a T-shirt for the meeting. The meeting which was held last Friday, was attended by about 200 people.
