Venezuelans committed to the Curacao environment

DSC_0282WILLEMSTAD -  A large group of Venezuelans coordinated by Totto Rescue Team and VenMundo Curaçao, joined this September Saturday 21, the Curacao cleaning work organized by Curaçao Clean Up.

Hundreds of used rubbers, bottles, plastic containers, bags, shoes and even remains of electronics were collected from the shores at Boka Pretu beach located next to the renowned Playa Canoa.

"We are grateful to this land that welcomed us with open arms, which is why today we come to give back a little of how much we have received," said one of the volunteers of Totto Rescue Team.

DSC_0139The organizers “Totto Rescue Team and VenMundo Curaçao” brought about forty Venezuelan volunteers who expressed their desire to continue supporting developing initiatives as important as last Saturdays, and if possible, become a multiplier so that more and more people join forces to make Curacao the best island of the Caribbean.

"We are convinced that Curacao is an island with a priceless tourism potential, because it combines the warmth and color of the Caribbean with the beauty of European architecture. Having a clean island, promotes tourism, and that is for the benefit of us all. "

Likewise, representatives of Totto Rescue Team and  VenMundo Curacao, expressed their desire not only to support initiatives of this kind, but also to carry out environmental and recreational  projects  towards the benefit of the entire community.
