“White cat cracker powder not harmful”
WILLEMSTAD - The white cat cracker powder that covered cars, houses, etc. last week in the areas close to the oil refinery Isla is not harmful. This is according to the environmental inspector, Clifford de Lannoy.
He relies on information provided by the Isla. “The product information of the powder gives a health rating of category 1, which is minimal. Literally, it says: After prolonged contact, it can cause irritation to skin, eyes and nose,” according to de Lannoy.
