Representatives of a new Curacao airline paid a courtesy visit to Minister Palm

AVAWILLEMSTAD –  Recently a delegation representing the new Curacao airline, AVA Curacao Inc paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Economic Development, Stanley Palm.

During this visit, the AVA’s Vice President and Chairman, Mr. Olivier Arrindel gave the Minister an extended explanation on AVA’s establishment and aviation plans.

AVA Curacao Inc. was organized at the end of 2013 as a new aviation company in Curacao. AVA is part of the major airline AVA Airways in Jamaica.

AVA’s objective is to create an aviation company with adds value to the world of air transport for Curacao by contributing to the economy of the island. Most important is to create additional airlift and more jobs for the island.

AVA Curaçao Inc. will make us of the existing aviation laws, but also the new bilateral agreements signed by Curacao so to create new routes and connect Curacao with other destinations.

AVA’s confidence in establishing in Curacao comes from the positive attribute the island offers not only through its diversity of languages, its geographical position in the Caribbean, the open sky policy, aviation treaties but also Curacao’s commitment to reach FAA’s category 1 again.

President of the AVA Curacao Inc will be Mr. Giovanni Atalita.

AVA has already turned in its documents to the Curacao Civil Aviation Authorities, which has to work on the economic and the operation permits.
