Asjes wants extensive investigation at Curacao House

Curacao house in The HagueWILLEMSTAD – Prime Minister of Curacao, Ivar Asjes says that there is so much wrong going on at the Curacao representation in The Hague, the Netherlands, especially in the period before the arrival of Minister Plenipotentiary Marvelyne Wiels.

The Prime Minister reports that the financial statements for the period 2006-2010 have not been published yet, while 160,000 euros were transferred to the accountant’s bureau Deloitte for this purpose.

Asjes reacts to the proposal made by the coalition partner PAIS to thoroughly investigate the Curacao House. This investigation should be done by the Government’s Accountants Bureau (SOAB).
