Asjes will meet with King Willem-Alexander

hennis-plasschaertTHE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD – The Prime Minister of Curacao, Ivar Asjes will meet with the King of the Dutch Kingdom, Willem-Alexander on Saturday August 31, 2013. The meeting will take place at the Eikenhorst Estate in Wassenaar, the Netherlands. This is according to a report from the Government Information Service (RvD)

It is the first time that Asjes, who earlier this year was appointed as Prime Minister, will meet King Willem-Alexander. The RvD did not inform if Queen Máxima will also be present at the meeting. RVD also announced that Asjes will meet with Prime Minister Mark Rutte tomorrow, as was previously known.

On Monday, the leader of Pueblo Soberano already spoke with Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations Ronald Plasterk (PvdA). Asjes spoke during his visit with Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans, Minister of Defense Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, and with the Ambassadors Chen Xu (China), Jose Manuel Terán Sitton (Panama), Haifa Aissami Madah (Venezuela) and Eduardo Pizarro Leongómez (Colombia).
