Bosman law in Dutch Parliament

BosmanTHE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD – The bill proposal from the Member of the Dutch Parliament for the VVD, Andre Bosman, to set requirements for Dutch Antilles citizens to live in the Netherlands, will be discussed and treated in Parliament in early February. Residents of the Caribbean part of the Kingdom must, by law, show that they can maintain themselves in the Netherlands and that they have no criminal record.

Previous attempts from Rita Verdonk to come up with an authorization system failed. The arrangement is, according to the island governments, discriminatory.
