Curaçao MP: “Politicians in The Hague are terrorists”

CordobaWILLEMSTAD - Politicians in The Hague are terrorists who threaten the Curaçao society. This is according to Jaime Cordoba, MP for the ruling party Pueblo Soberano (PS). He made this declaration during the weekly general meeting of the party.

Cordoba responded to the debate over the Sanctions Law in the Lower Chamber of the Dutch Parliament.

This law, which had to make sure that the sanctions of the European Union (EU) are taken over automatically in the local laws was rejected by a majority in the Curaçao Parliament. This majority consisted of opposition parties MFK, MAN and the ruling party Pueblo Soberano (PS). These parties were accused of opposing the fight against terrorism since this law relates to EU sanctions against terrorist countries or organizations.

Cordoba said that he did not agree with these accusations. The only terrorists who pose a threat to the people of Curaçao, he describes as the politicians in The Hague. “They call the shots on the island and do what they want,” said Cordoba. He noted that in Curaçao, but also in Parliament, there are a number of puppets of the Netherlands active, wanting to condone what the Dutch government is doing.
