Dutch Islands want joint I.D.

Netherlands AntillesWILLEMSTAD – During the Inter Parliamentary Kingdom Consultations, the delegates of the islands voiced their desire for a common identification card for all the islands in the former Netherlands Antilles.

I.D. holders will be able to go through airports much faster just like it was during the Netherlands Antilles. The delegates have also requested separate immigration lines at the airports. Moreover, the delegates are of the opinion that the immigration forms should be abolished when traveling between the islands. It’s not the intention of using to I.D. card when traveling to the Netherlands. To enter the Netherlands one will still need a passport.
