First request Parliament meeting

WILLEMSTAD - The PAR fraction in Parliament requested a Central committee meeting through a letter addressed to the brand new President of Parliament, Amerigo Thode (MFK). This is the first request since the new Parliament was installed last Friday. The PAR members request a presentation about the current financial situation of the country. In October the interim government, during Betrian’s national dialogue, gave a presentation on the situation of the country on how it was when they took office.

Now that the new parliament is installed, the PAR wants to use the opportunity to invite the interim government to give a presentation of the situation in which the country finds itself, especially regarding the financial situation. The PAR fraction hopes in this way that the parliament can be well informed so it can fully fulfill its responsibilities as representative of the people.

Formerly the PAR had 8 seats in parliament, but after last election it has only 4 seats. The members for PAR in parliament are Emily de Jongh-Elhage, Omayra Leeflang, Zita Jesus Leito and Glenn.
