Former PAR MP Jamaloodin convicted
WILLEMSTAD - Former Member of Parliament for the PAR, Marlon Jamaloodin was convicted of drunk driving. On January 11, he crashed his car into a tree. The police officers indicated that Jamaloodin had red swollen eyes and a heavy tongue.
Jamaloodin works as a senior official at the Ministry of Justice and now receives a criminal record. The judge took this into account and imposed a slightly lower fine of 500 guilders for DUI and 100 guilders for irresponsible driving behavior.
