Lars de Brabander new chairman board InselAir International B.V.

Lars-de-Brabander-InselAirWILLEMSTAD - Today Lars de Brabander officially starts his duties as chairman of the board of InselAir International B.V. for a period of six months. De Brabander has been appointed by the Minister of Economic Development, Dr. Steven Martina, to this new position. Until recently De Brabander became a member of the Supervisory Board of the airline.

De Brabander will be mainly responsible for daily operations and facilitating negotiations with a strategic partner. In addition, he faces the challenge to meet the conditions set by the judge in connection with the recently extended deferment of payment.

Informally, De Brabander has been closely involved in the operation for several weeks. Meanwhile, various measures have been taken in terms of costs, income and to improve results. Safety still has the highest priority in this respect.

The 56-year-old De Brabander has gained extensive experience in the international aviation sector, among others, at Air France - KLM, Northwest Airlines and Martinair, and is the successor of Jan Heppener.
